Nice Extreme. I was really intrigued by E-stay bikes and just had to have one. I spent a lot of time looking and finally got an almost original '91 Impulse Comp. One step below the Extreme. Surprisingly nimble bike.
That's a nice one. Ours shared the same frame. The Comp model had a higher end tubeset AFAIK.
I swapped out my front cantilevers for V brakes, and now run the same pads front and rear. The ride is very nostalgic for me, I am very happy to have it back.
