Correct and very well aware of. We purchased these bikes brand new back then from a Fuji authorized dealer. The OP's is original as equipped with 18 speed / triple. My S-12s Ltd was a twelve speed, black with light gold accent on the head tube.

Same dealer was selling Trek. I forget which model but my brother purchased one.

Anyways, my recollection of touring on the loaded S12s Ltd is memorable. Interesting vintage bike today but its more of a whippy torsional frame. Wouldn't be my standard for long tour these days.
