More of the same training for me. My wife and I did a 40k team time trial segment starting at the South gate of Camp Pendleton going North through San Onofre state beach. For the entire course, we knocked off 12 minutes off our best previous time and the 40k segment was 1:12 on road bikes having to maneuver a couple of stops, gates and other road furniture. The 12 minute reduction was monstrous and we had the wind against us in both directions. One may ask how is that possible. The wind was from the NE when we started and shifted to the WSW on the way back.
