Thank you, I wasn't planning on buying anything, but it was too good of a deal. He told me he spent $2000 when new, I guess that may be right. He then showed me his other bikes, that he says he wants to sell also - 1995 Merlin Extralight, Judy, Full XTR, Litespeed Ocooce (?) 6al4v FS mtn bike, and a Bridgestone RB1 upgraded with Ultegra Brifters... He says he has $4000 each in the Merlin and the Litespeed, and $1000 into the Bridgestone. I started to do the math in my head, "Ok, he's selling me the $2000 bike for $150, so I should offer him $300 each for the Mtn bikes, and $75 for the Bridgestone?"
