repechage

there were a few “early” lugged mtbs- KHS in the USA marketed a few also. Got one for a girlfriend- she used it then traded it in a decade later ( different boyfriend) too bad, I would have serviced the bike for her, or purchased it for more than what she traded it in for... the shop where she traded it in, knocked off the dust, lubed the chain and priced it at $150 more than the trade in value... made more on the trade in than the new bike most likely.
