No. 1.370" or 1.375" threading are English, ISO
used almost exclusively in Japan.
35mm is French threading.

bottom bracket "flats" are off from time to time.
there is a pro VAR tool with interchangeable sized engagements.
the methods shown should work.
some Kroil would not hurt. With drive side of bike down for a day or two.
