The gym is just so time inefficient... Scenery aside, I get bothered by having to wait around. Shame, b/c I do value the heavy olympic lifts (squats, deads etc) and think they are great for whole body strength and wellness. Maybe someday I'll have a setup for that in the garage.
For now, my 1x/week lower body routine involves dumbells, a platform, and some resistance bands for lighter stuff. Abs twice/week. Upper, not doing anything formally, just peppering in a few sets each of 20 pushups and 10 pull ups per week.
