Most definitely... but I wouldn't give up the discs.

I do think that the full-on IsoSpeed in a Domane might be the best solution if you're looking a fast magic carpet ride on sometimes ****** roads, but I also believe that modern frames can give you a lot of that damping (70%? 80%?) without the weight penalty.
