Mattm...I know what you want. Can't really type now but will shoot a message in the next day or two. Many flights....no fees, no damage...way better than a hard case in terms of space.

You go hard case and you are def getting fees plus they're going to open it as it can't fit through the machines, and when tsa tracks it all bets are off.
