I was a subscriber back then (though not a member of the BSA) and I remember that Vista ad. My subscription to Boy's Life and Ranger Rick magazines lapsed after my grandma died in '75. She was the one who kept re-upping them.
Yep, my grandmother got Boy’s Life for my older brother when I was a kid, so I kinda browsed them pretty good. Grampa passed in ‘71, & Gramma followed in ‘72, and that was the end of Boy’s Life. 😩
