The surgeon who re-attached the finger was apparently unaware of the length of the window for getting it done later. The reconstructive surgeon was beside himself in disbelief, of that fact and some others. Six weeks at the very outside, and by the time I saw him it had been two months. He cited my age, the Covid, the exact location of the cut, and a few other things.I didn't fight him. Life is for learning.
