It might be easier to build a "rider" first.
A show bike can be a bit overwhelming and expensive.
A lot of the bikes here are long term projects.
I like to get a bike on the road asap and then upgrade as time and money permit.
It's mostly labour to take apart clean and re assemble.
new tires, brake pads and chain are reasonable.
A nice leather saddle can be the biggest expense.
Post some photos as you progress.
