I'm building up a Specialized Roubaix frame and I ordered a Shimano Ultegra Di2 Groupset with Hydro brakes. I've been waiting 6 weeks and I'm not very confident it will arrive anytime soon. I've heard that Shimano is having a hard time getting materials from their vendors.
I talked to a guy at a bike shop who is in charge of ordering inventory. He said it's really hard to order bikes six months out because he doesn't know if demand is going to suddenly drop. If the vaccine kicks in, will people keep up the demand to buy bikes? Will there be a glut of used bikes on the market?
