Yeah.

I wonder what the math is on the times on, say, a 4K with a normal single speed chain, Dura-Ace road chain, and this new chain.

I agree that any gains are still gains and "free gains" (where you get more for the same given energy into the system) are always nice. But, I am curious to see how much is gained where it counts, on the stopwatch.

Also, I love the idea of new products for the sport. I don't want to seem like a curmudgeon. I also want people know what they are buying. I'm reminded of a guy who assembled an Olympic-caliber bike but never did any training and couldn't fathom why he rode like a 15 second flying 200...repeatedly.
