Yeah, it's hard to carry touring gear on a Roubaix. We did the 1,100 mile trip in 11 days pretty much hugged the coast the whole way. So we had a chase vehicle that we met up with every 20 miles or so for fresh water and food. And the chase vehicle was towing a 36' fifth wheel trailer so we 'camped' in that every night. The year before we did a similar trip from Louisville, KY to Philadelphia (700 miles in 7 days) but decided to up the mileage this year.
