smullen I started back a little over a year ago after being away since mid 30s. I'm 49 now. 6'0 200. But lots of big guys now ride 24/26/29 which is also a FB group. I ride road/MTB also but bmx is my first love. Have a couple old school but ride new school. New frames are strong. Get a 21" top tube or 22" bike if you want to do serious tricks. If not the larger still allow you to so some but are heavier and not as easy. Fun either way. I like old school to look at but new are just much more functional and strong.
