Hey SoCal people, we are looking at location options for our stay. One idea is to stay in Santa Monica, I see there is a rail line that goes from there to USC (the E line) so if we need to go back/forth that makes it easier than driving. We actually want to avoid having a car or car rental during our stay. It also looks like good cycling options just West of there.

I’m not sure about the travel between Santa Monica and USC, but the riding west of there is excellent, with lots of options. The traffic in Santa Monica can be a bit heavy, but once you get out to Malibu, it improves a lot.
