davester, that's in another league from Hillier Than Thou. The web page says if you don't prepare, you'll regret doing it. I took that seriously, and I did train, doing distances and climbing, and I didn't regret doing it. Everyone on the ride said they wished they had lower gears. I was one of the oldest on the ride, and I had the oldest and heaviest bike on the ride.
