I find no motivation in the Strava Local Loser stats, but I do hunt the odd KOM or three. 😎
More motivating for me is tracking my own mileage and/or time in the saddle, then ensuring I stay on target. Seeing friends post their rides is good motivation also.
Strava is what you make of it.
