Speaking of the Reconnaissance Reports...
A useful resource for planning new rides are the Mass. DCR Reconnaissance Reports on the historic and scenic assets of a number of towns. It's been 5 years since I last posted the link to them,
so here it is again. They won't tell you what's new in a town, but they sure will tell you what's old. A good adjunct to your bicycle as time machine.
