Saris bones is the way to go for me. Arms are width adjustable and I just picked one up off craigslist for 50 bucks!!!!
I drive a Solara 2005 convertible and a 2017 Rav4. It fits both. But even more important is that it fits my gravel bike. The GT Grade has limited space between headtube and floating seatstays that most trunk racks cannot accommodate. With the adjustable ares and narrow width anyway...it fits very nicely!
They are expensive new but the design is flawless. The newer Saris Bones EX racks from are not much different in design and the only benefit is they fit about 20% more vehicles.
Used or new, they will last
