Yes, it's definitely a 1990 model. The Nishiki logo with the Cunningham design reference was introduced for the 1989 model year, but that year's Cascade used thumb shifters. Rapidfire shifters, as used on your bicycle, were introduced for the 1990 model year and the Cascade was upgraded (sic) with elevated chain stays for the 1991 model year.
