Just to get the discussion back on track:
This thing is beautiful, inspiring, and it doesn't accept the rulebook.
It's also a great example that it's absolutely OK to modify an old frame - especially one made in such large numbers that skirting the possibility of N = N -1 isn't a concern - and the results can be astounding, especially if your vision is to go above and beyond what the original frameset used to be.
