After building my own gravel bike up
last winter, I've spent more time on our crushed limestone trails. My wife has ridden these on here Liv hybrid along side me, but wanted to try a different bike.
This summer I looked around for frames to build a very small gravel bike, but didn't find much that she liked the looks of. I did still have in storage a 94 Schwinn Crosscut hybrid that she didn't ride anymore, and she agreed that I should convert that.
It is an unusual model, 16" frame with 26" rims, quite small. I've kept most of the old drivetrain stuff, but had to swap the FD to an older RSX which is happier with the Shimano STI shifter.
The tires are Serfas Drifter 26x1.5, the originals were 26x1.35.
Her test ride was yesterday, and it did pretty well with minor adjustments.
