Ah - significant, but not huge. It could be a tiny fit difference, but I wouldn't be surprised if it just came down to riding conditions. I know that I'm not as confident sending it on gravel as I am on pavement; in to and out of corners/curves are always a little more conservative. Also, circling back to gearing, standing going uphill isn't an option, either.
