The worst was when I took Mom to Walmart for hers back in May. They had people packed in like sardines. I was gonna wait with her but wasn't good with the crowd in there so told her to text me when done, I'm headed outside to drink coffee in the van.
Safeway was much better. Most vaxxers were already jabbed by late June, so not many people back there waiting preshot, and they don't make you wait in the waiting room for 20 mins post shot.
Plus I got the Moderna, which rumour has it does better against Delta than the Phizer Mom got at Wally World.
I'm still going to mostly isolate and/or mask up for quite a while, even after my shot is fully fledged.
