As we approach summer, and have already hit 97F this month, I'm wondering if the mesh type base layers will help with cooling. I've asked around here, but the guys I know have not even thought of trying it, so I have no good local opinions.
I've heard guys recommend using a base layer when it's hot but I can't stand it. If I'm wearing one and the temp goes up I will take it off. Same thing at work, people have said they wear a tee shirt under their work shirt in the heat but I find it to be suffocating. I sweat profusely and get teased about it sometimes and if I have extra layers on they get soaked.
