We're also continuing to see an increase in females on the broadcast/analysis side of the game. I'm a fan.
The old-school attitude that you have to play at a high level to be able to coach at a high level continues to be challenged. Another example is the Dodger's hitting coach, Robert Von Scoyoc - a young guy whose playing peak was being mediocre in HS. He became a student of the swing, learned from some of the most respected hitting coaches in the same, and helped JD Martinez rebuild his swing into what we see today.
