I switched out my chainring from a 30 tooth to a 36 tooth this morning. Before I was spinning out around 8mph but riding uphill was nice with a 22 tooth freewheel . With the 36 , I’m spinning out around 11mph and so far , the hills around here are doable . I actually spun up one at around 9.5mph .
With my multigeared bikes I was usually around 5-6 mph by the time I reached the top.
I’ll try it a few days , I can always change it back or try something else.
