Well it's because the new LEFTY engineers are all in on narrow lanes to make cars go slower. Clamming berms and speed bumps are being put everywhere.
So now we have to watch the damn curbs instead of down the road for kids. Tire scuffed curbs are the result. Every crossing has to be narrowed for old folks. I guess they don't care about cars being able to open their doors without getting wacked.
