We have had these panniers since 2012 and they are still great. We bought the red ones and though they are quite faded they are still waterproof.
We don't tour on our tandem now as we prefer singles these panniers have been across the US ,Cananda and multiple European trips. Just replaced a number of the buckles but those are available from Ortlieb.
