Velo Mule, that happened to me riding on a trail. It ruined a nice white Bluemels fender. They have been hard to get. It's sad.
I started a search and all the plastic fenders seem to be available in black only. I even looked on Ebay, but nothing piqued my interest there, at least as far as fenders. White seems to be harder to find than silver. I don't like buying fender used anyway. I've gotten burned with missing hardware before.
I will save the hardware from this broken fender set.
