Speaking of that, I remember that a broken hip for a senior citizen used to be a death sentence not that many years ago. I don’t know why but I remember that observation clearly. I’m wondering if that has changed in recent years, because I have to tell you the fear of slipping and falling on my snowy driveway was one of the main reasons I recently relocated.
