Ross as said er went out of business in 1988 and stopped higher quality production a us production a few years earlier. The later built Ross from 2015 are so are lesser China imports made to look nicer for a importer that got the Ross name. As said if it's a later model it's a department store level bike used in great condition but only $75-100 bike. IF looking for a good bike to ride on the cheap there are a lot of nice vintage and semi vintage Hard frame MTB's that are a lot nicer in the $100-200 range out there so aim higher.
