Oh, inside! I just rode and inspected it but I couldn't find the serial number on the badge or rear dropout. You are saying I would have to remove the rear wheel to see it?
I do believe it would be on the inside of the rear-dropout of an earlier Panasonic, probably the right side, I'm not sure if you'd have to remove the wheel but it might make it easier. The 4-digit serial on the badge was usually stamped
