Super chill, super enjoyable MTB ride this am. Twenty miles/2500 ft climbing, about 15 miles of totally sweet singletrack. Some forested areas, some open grassy fields, some epic views, some tight tunnels (holly? does that grow around here? I guess so). Rode with a friend who is prepping for an endurance mtb race. He wanted a long zone 2 ride, so the pace was just mellow. Perfect weather, temps in the 70s. We wandered around a little once we got to the top, did a little exploring. Saw zero other mountain bikers, one woman hiking solo, eight deer and a coyote. Perfect morning.
