My mom decided she wanted a bike after I got the rest of the family riding again, and she really liked the look of the dual top tubes on my girlfriend's mixte. Something at the level of a Motobecane Grand Jubilee would be great, but I realize 650b mixtes less common. My mom's not super picky but if I could find something with lighter-weight tubing I'm sure she'd be appreciative.
I have a Schwinn Traveler Sports that may be what you are looking for. The sloping top tube is single, but splits at the seat tube. Frame is Cro-Mo, stem shifters, etc. It's pretty much a complete project that never was finished.
