There are so many bikes on this planet that will never get ridden like that one was, the mismatched cranks, the different wheels, etc... All a testament to a bike that lived a full life.

I follow a facebook page for bike mechanics, and they post up all sorts of crap that comes in the door, usually terrible "fixes" done by the customer, but sometimes they post up some of the most worn out used up bike parts I've ever seen, I love those posts the most, brand new perfect bike parts will always make me smile, but thoroughly worn out used up bike parts are the only ones will always hold a special place in my heart :-)
