DQRider , is that a DL-1 frame with drum brakes in the front and drum or coaster brakes in the rear? As much as I like how cleverly engineered the brake linkages are, they are limited in the stopping power. Nice bike. I like the picture a whole lot too. It looks like the face painted on the wall admires your ride as well.
I had a DL-1 that was pretty complete and original, and liked the way it rode. It was too good for me so I passed it along. I always thought that a DL-1 with better brakes would be nice ride.
