Got out around ten this morning. Already 84 with heat index of 93 when I started .
Rode my no name SS I put together this past week .
I kept feel a bump when pedaling . When I got back home I discovered the crank axle has a lot of play in it .
I have a cheap crank set and bottom bracket I ordered off Amazon that I was going to try and put on an Electra cruiser . Guess I’ll be seeing if it’ll fit this bike . Rode 6.5 miles total .
Edit: When I got home , I dug out the new crankset/bottom bracket and after a couple hours of viewing videos and looking up tools , I got out the channel locks and removed the old one and installed the new set . Dropped the gearing down a little , now it’s easy to cruise with.
I took it for a short spin
