Thanks Scott, that helps.
Digging through some Shimano documentation it looks like 16A is used on 11-23T, 11-25T and 12-25T cassettes. The 16B is only used on the 11-32T cassette. That other chart I posted had me scratching my head because I have an 11-25T cassette.
