Thanx! That's what I thought as well but wanted to see what everyone else thought. I wish I had tried drilling before doing all the banging trying to get that cotter out. Now to pull the other and clean it up.

It doesn't seem to me that the small crater in there would make any difference. Looks like there's still plenty of support in there to hold a pin where it's supposed to be.
