Took the Surly for a fast-for-me sprint on the Minuteman to Lexington Center and back, the basic before-dinner ride. I was making sufficiently good time that I observed some of the behaviors of the speedier trail users; these were occasionally regrettable, particularly one apparent bullying incident by a guy on a pedal-assist e-bike who was crowding a conventional rider who was already executing a pass... and who happened to be a person of color. Not a good look. Whether this was genuine sketchy bigotry, or simply pedal-assisted incompetence, or a bit of both, I couldn't say, but it was unpleasant. That aside, it was a good ride, quick and careful.
