Got out on the GT for a quick spin up to Lexington Center and back before dinner. I found myself ruminating on the change of the demographic and equipment mix on the Minuteman over the years. We're definitely getting a diversity of humans, and of approaches to the trail. The more, the merrier, sez I. Complaints about lane discipline, rights-of-way, electric pedal assist, and headlight aimpoints are reserved for other posts, many of them already up... ;-)
I saw several of the Minuteman evening regulars, people I've been encountering there for years, so there are some invariants under these transformations. Reassuring.
