The transition from Wednesday night's deluge to Thursday afternoon's benign weather was a little bizarre, but I'll take it. I rode the GT out to Watertown to visit with my son, Sam, and granddaughter, Ida. She's much nicer than that other Ida.

Along the way, I had the benefit of my favorite Belmont traffic sign.

Mugen the cat continues to be the Center of the Universe.

We left the universe in the cat's capable paws, and walked to a playground. Granddaughter Ida is coming along.
