Saturday afternoon, I took the GT and rode East, on my hilly route through Arlington, Medford, Malden, Melrose, and Stoneham.
As always, the point of this ride is lots of hill climbing and descending, with a bit of the fun of riding in some urban traffic thrown in. And people watching, of course.
The weather couldn't have been better.
When I headed West on the return, I realized that the sun was low enough to produce a good deal of solar glare while I transited a couple of final hills. I rode with extra care then.
Good ride, my legs thanked me.
