I know I'm late but the fastest I've seen on my speedo on a bike was 81. kmh. On a fully loaded recumbent touring bike. It was a nice hill with no sharp corners and I took the lane and let the bike roll. I kept my hands well away from the brake levers. At that speed grabbing a brake is only going to end badly.
I've gone faster on my old Mercian road bike but it didn't have a speedo on it at teh time. Similar road: steepish with a good runout. There were a group of us and we all bombed down the hill. The fastest person got to 89kmh and the slowest was doing 83kmh. I was in the middle so was going somewhere between the two.
