I got a double-dose of Britney from my girls - LOL. However, I have successfully implanted my music preferences in their core. Both times I've seen Green Day in concert, my girls were with me, and singing along just as loudly.
Unfortunately, neither were much interested in bicycles.
The only street cred I have with my son is I gave him my old Concrete Blonde concert Ts when he got physically big enough to wear them. One day he got stopped by a teacher in the hall and asked where he got the shirt. He told the teacher and said I had given him multiple shirts. The teacher said I must be a really cool dude to have seen Concrete Blonde multiple times. Said he'd like to meet me. He also said the band's music changed his life.
