As it turns out, I felt great today. Didn’t crash, despite sketchy juniors divebombing corners. Didn’t flat. And most importantly, never felt I was in difficulty. Maybe some of it was racing on streets I literally ride on every day as part of my commute, I didn’t have any top end, so I wasn’t going to be able to out sprint the bunch, but I knew I wasn’t going to get dropped either.
