1986 Bridgestone 500, 59cm
Shimano 600 drivetrain (shifters/crank/derailleurs). Bought from original owner in 2008. Rebuilt in 2009 with upgraded 105 calipers & levers, threadless stem and wider bars. Here in commuter mode, since un-commuterized and added a used, brown suede Rolls saddle.
I keep thinking of replacing it with a new racy road bike, but it still goes great. A new wheelset and 8-speed cassette would be nice, but hard to justify pumping more money into it.
I've owned a number of '80s steel road bikes the last few years, this is by far the nicest. I've put 2000 miles on it in three years.
